December 2021 Smalls Link Up
I hope all of you have been enjoying these last days of the year, especially if you’ve been celebrating the holidays! And I hope you’ve all been able to fit some stitching in to your days during this busy time of year!
I have something to share…it’s not really a small, but it’s all I’ve got! I finished up Just Nan’s Star of Wonder this week. It is SO sparkly. I love it. Very festive.
I tell you what, I was scared to death of “band 6″ which is the double running stitch red/pink ribbon in the middle. I saved it for last. But once I actually started it, it was quite easy. I don’t know what I was worried about. In fact the beads were much more time consuming. But to be honest this whole sampler was rather easy and gives a lot of impact for its small size of about 4″ wide by 7” long. I will see about getting it framed in the new year.
Now it’s your turn! Let’s see your last smalls (or not so smalls) of the year! Many thanks to all of you for joining in this year! And please do be looking forward to 2022 when the Smalls SAL will continue as usual, linking up on the last Friday of each month. I will get the little picture and info page updated in the next week or so.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Your Star is stunning, Mary. That’s a great way to finish the year! When you get a sec, would you please send me your mailing address. You won a bead decorated tree Christmas ornament from my Advent Blog Hop post. Happy New Year!
Wishing you a very happy new year Mary, hope it is filled with fun and laughter and lots of stitchy goodness.

Happy New Year! Your Just Nan is stunning, love seeing all the different stitches.
All your stitching this year has been so beautiful, I’m especially impressed by the butterfly which is so different and exquisite.
Thank you for hosting the Smalls SAL again during 2021! It’s been so good to have the goal to finish something small every month. This year I’ve managed to publish eleven of twelve months, which I’m really pleased with.
I wish you happy stitching for next year!
With love from Sweden,
Anna-Carin
That is sooooo sparkly. Thank you for hosting Smalls SAL 2021. Happy New Year
I think I would have been more scared of the metallic thread! It’s gorgeous and perfect as a Christmas stitch.
Thanks for hosting the Smalls SAL again this year. Happy New Year and see you in 2022! 🙂
Star of Wonder is totally stunning! I love the colours and the texture of the stitches. I do wish Nan would do some more band samplers. The star charm is gorgeous too.
