September 2022 Smalls Check In

I needed every minute of the last hours of this “long” month (long because the last Friday is the last day of the month this month!) to finish my small! Here it is, How Great Thou Art by The Nebby Needle.

This hymn reminds me of my Grandma and going to her Lutheran church with her, as well as her last days when a music therapist came to her hospice and sang it for her. Ah. It is a lovely hymn.

I love the fancy letters. I used my own silks on a scrap of 40 count which is probably Lakeside maybe Light Examplar. I will frame it.

I sincerely hope October will be a better stitching month for me! Did you get any stitching done this month?
