February 2023 FFO Gallery: A Berry

I have one nice FFO for you this month! If you are not familiar, an FFO is a Fully Finished Object, and our blogging friend Rachel hosts a gallery of them every month so we can share what we’ve created. Thanks, Rachel!

Now…If you participated in the Secret Stitching Sweetheart blog hop you will have seen my FFO already! It is Erica Michael’s Forever Thine Berry.

It says Forever Thine.

I just had to do this one the minute I saw it. I love the colors. I love the roses. It was a fun stitch. My stitching isn’t the neatest because about 75% was stitched in a plane and on the go but that’s ok, it’s always nice to get something done!

Here I am stitching in the beautiful Duke University Chapel while awaiting my brother’s wedding earlier this month. Was a gorgeous setting. It was cold, but the wedding was gorgeous, the food all very delicious and most importantly, I loved seeing my family, many of whom it has been 5 or more years since we’ve seen each other.

I was supposed to have at least one other finish for you, but I am struggling with that pumpkin…I need wire for the stem and what I have just doesn’t work. Hoping to get to Hobby Lobby this weekend. I’ll show you next month!

    1. It’s a brand new design in January and I snapped it right up at the shop when it came in! The chart includes 2…a berry and a matching pillow. I saved a piece of the linen to do the pillow…someday!

  1. What a beautiful design and finish! Thank you for entering it into the FFG SAL.
Good luck with finding correct wire for the pumpkin. I look forward to seeing it next month!

  2. What a gorgeous strawberry, the little rose on the top is just perfect. You will always have the memory of where you stitched it too.
