Grapevine
I finished the grapevine outline yesterday! I started filling in! Look! I got the closed herringbone filling done in one night. I love that stitch. It is SO soothing and fun and fast to do. And I love the braided look it gives. I had enough silk to do the one green grape, right in the middle, satin stitched. I love those grapes! I will fill in some of the purple and red ones tonight. I am tweaking the colors slightly to make it really rich. My green is not as bright as some of the other examples indicate. But I like it.

I am not sure about the dark rust tendrils that I started on the left side there. They do set off the grape bunches but they are a little distracting in the color scheme. Maybe a brown will be better or the olive green. Thinking about it.
Hi Mary, I was wondering if there was a way I could contact you? I was wondering if I could get your permission to use your cats version of The Pink Sparrow sampler. I want to replace the dogs for cats, and love how you did yours! Thanks š Zeb
Sure! I recognize you from IG and Facebook. I will message you today. Iām fairly certain I made a mini chart of the cats. I think I can send it. Let me try in a bit.
I sent you the chart for the cats thru FB messenger!
