Today I am representing Day 15 for Jo at Serendipitous Stitching’s Advent Calendar<\/a>, sharing this day with Ariadne from Greece’s<\/a> blog.<\/p>\n\n\n

During this fun blog hop, Jo opens a “door” to a different blog each day of Advent and we post some Christmas stitching for all to enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n

For my Christmas stitching I want to share with you my progress in The Victoria Sampler’s Heirloom Nativity which I started just about 2 years ago!<\/p>\n\n\n

For you regular readers you can see that I’ve met my goal for this month of making it down to the last section, the hardanger decoration at the bottom! <\/p>\n\n\n

<\/p>\n

This section is so beautiful I want to do a learning piece first so I don’t mess it up! I aim to do that in January and any further stitching I do in this this month will be to get the Kloster blocks done in preparation for that.<\/p>\n\n\n

Jo has also asked us to answer “What is your favorite Christmas song?” Oh, do I have to pick only one? I just can’t. For more secular carols I love White Christmas and The Christmas Song. And for hymns I am always moved by O Holy Night and What Child Is This. <\/a>This one goes well with my stitching sobI’ll link to it for you, a really pretty version by Josh Groban.<\/p>\n
