Merry Christmas to all my readers who celebrate! And to everyone, I hope this end of year season is restful for you and finding you well as we quickly approach 2019!<\/p>\n

It is time for taking stock of the year. As I look through my project bags I find they are all still full!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(Do you like my bags? After buying the yellow one in front I thought it was so great I wanted to make some more. I have used Vonna’s excellent tutorial,<\/a> adjusting sizes and adding my own touches of a strap and interior pocket to make them work better for me. Thanks Vonna, for the leaping off point!)<\/p>\n

It turns out I have quite a few things unfinished as we close out the year. None will be discarded to a UFO pile…in fact I do think they’ll all be done in the first quarter. So here are the things you can look forward to seeing me complete in 2019! Ha! In no particular order:<\/p>\n

A Very Merry Winter from JBW Designs. This is supposed to be my Ornies SAL contribution for this month but it won’t get done in time. January will be fine for this “winter” ornament since it doesn’t actually claim to be a Christmas one!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Merry Christmas from La D Da. I had a miscount and need to take out the whole branch. I don’t want to fudge it. It just takes some doing.<\/p>\n

Angels from Country Cottage. I just really lost momentum on this after my little guy’s swim lessons ended. It was my swim lesson project! But obviously it’s very close so no excuses!<\/p>\n

A snowflake from the Etsy shop Fuzzy Fox Designs. This was one of the little things I bought with my blog hop prize from Jo at Serendipitous Stitching!<\/a> Thanks,Jo! Anyway, feeling winter-y, I started it on a whim and then had to put it down once the Christmas preparations had to be done. I’m stitching with Thread Gatherer Aqua Clouds Silk N Colors and a light blue blending filament from Kreinik on white linen.<\/p>\n

Leaping Cat from La D Da. Oh dear, how neglected it is! But I still love it so. Must. Finish. Leaping Cat.<\/p>\n

This beaded magnetic Mill Hill pin pillow. I had just started it but then I lost all the floss! That has never happened to me before! But guess what? 3 months later I found the floss! Under my bed! What the…? So now I can finish it.<\/p>\n

The Joyful World Calendar from Snowflower Diaries. I don’t know what happened with this one except I think when I decided to take a third year on it I gave up on it for 2018! Yikes! Well, I still like this one too. Back to work!<\/p>\n

And finally if you’ve been following along you know I need to hemstitch Random Thoughts and learn to do Hardanger so I can finish Heirloom Nativity.<\/p>\n
