Argh! I am so undecided by the how the varigated floss is laying! I want the flower to stand out from the letter so I’ve been trying to lay the floss to create some definition. But it’s not looking how I want so I am inclined to take out either the flower or the initial and do it in a solid blue. What do you think? I feel like it would be a lot of work…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autumn Foliage from The Heart\u2019s Content. I figured out a better way to position my light and magnifier and this is coming along nicely now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly I started something new, NOT from my \u201cDo This Year\u201d binder but a lucky purchase I made earlier this year-one of my unicorns! Stacy Nash\u2019s Spring Flowers Pinkeep. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s an easy, simple project but very sweet and it has a bunny on it! The only problem I’ve discovered is, there is only enough floss included to stitch 1 over 2 and I’m stitching 2 over 2! I’m going to run out and the dye lot of “Barn Gray” from the kit is nowhere close to my 3 (!) shades of “Barn Gray” in my stash! I *might* be able to sub “Banker’s Gray…” or a DMC otherwise I’ll have to rip out the flowers and redo them in something completely different. Boo!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
