I picked up the Heirloom Nativity last week. I’m trying to get the bands done between the shepherds and kings before July. Then I will be about half done with this thing if you don’t count the hardanger at the bottom. That will feel like an accomplishment! <\/p>\n

\nI need to add the beads to the lace, finish the vine, and figure out the stitch between the scotch stitch and the vine. It seems complicated-at least too much to do when I was tired watching tv.<\/p>\n

I love the Gloriana Bellagio (rainbow) silk! Gorgeous!<\/p>\n

Last week I finished April for Joyful World-except for the ground. Still thinking how I will approach this with a different specialty stitch in the ground on each month.<\/p>\n

I also finished the stitching on the little snow girl:<\/p>\n

\nJust need to put her together.<\/p>\n

I started my Facebook Smalls summer challenge, Petit Coeur Blue by Atalie. This is small-it’s in a 4″ hoop.<\/p>\n

\nThis silk is lovely too! It’s from Atalie called Bora Bora.<\/p>\n

I started my next ornies SAL-the theme for July is animals and this is Mill Hill’s Cat in the Box. <\/p>\n

It’s got a lot of blue. So far not as interesting as many of the other ones I’ve done but I know the end result will be cute. I have 3 Mill Hill ornaments with cats- they are all orange cats so they remind me of my cat Kiwi. That’s why I got them.<\/p>\n
