I picked up Star of Wonder by Just Nan, and guess what the next band was? Bargello. So that&#8217;s what I started with! I also had a chance to compare back to back the Bijoux to the Kreinik used in the Just Nan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.marysthread.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_7266.jpg?resize=640%2C853&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4911\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.marysthread.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_7266.jpg?resize=768%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.marysthread.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_7266.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.marysthread.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_7266.jpg?w=1000&amp;ssl=1 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Friends, if you dislike Kreinik and you are able to substitute Bijoux for it, you should do that. I do not want to bad mouth a good brand like Kreinik, but I&#8217;m just saying the Bijoux is SO much easier to work with. At least is has been for me. Now, the Bijoux is a metal strand wrapped around a black thread, and the black thread shows, like it is candy striped. If you want something silvery or sparkling and bright, I&#8217;m not sure they have a color in the Bijoux line that will work. Unless there is a Bijoux thread with a white core. But otherwise, it is definitely worth a try!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back to the topic at hand, I am loving this little band sampler. It is so pretty and small and I feel like I might be able to get it done this year too. Or at least up to the beading. It&#8217;s only 10 bands and I&#8217;ve finished 6.
