I started filling in! Look! I got the closed herringbone filling done in one night. I love that stitch. It is SO soothing and fun and fast to do. And I love the braided look it gives. I had enough silk to do the one green grape, right in the middle, satin stitched. I love those grapes! I will fill in some of the purple and red ones tonight. I am tweaking the colors slightly to make it really rich. My green is not as bright as some of the other examples indicate. They do set off the grape bunches but they are a little distracting in the color scheme. Maybe a brown will be better or the olive green.
