Life has gotten bogged down lately…mostly ok stuff, just too much going on! I didn’t meet my stitching goals for August. But I was out of town 3 weekends and there has been a lot of busy-ness at home!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I told you I’d share the little bird pinwheel from Fox and Rabbit that I had started at summer school. It is a very small start but here it is. So cute! I’m using the provided 100.3. I’ve used a bit of 100.3 before but I’m still a beginner with it and it is going just fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I received back 2 framed pieces…here they are Jane Plenderleath from NeedleWork Press<\/p>\n\n\n

and Quaker Garden from Blackbird Designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The frames are just perfect I think. I’m exceedingly happy with how they came out. I just love these projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, in addition to trying to keep up with Dorcas, I’m trying to decide if I pick up another WIP for Sampler September, try to finish the birdy pinwheel, or find another small. For a larger WIP I would like to finish up the Checkerboard Stag Sampler. It was getting very close when I put it down last!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I guess if I can any extra minutes I will work on it, or the birdy. We’ll see. September is going to be very busy too and to be honest, I may have to revise my Dorcas plan again. I hope you all are having a good stitching month though to make up where I lack!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
