I finished Joy To Ewe from Chessie and Me. I just had needed to put on the French knots to make a fluffy sheep. It’s cute. I will make it a pillow.<\/p>\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nI made another Kiriki Press ornament. I wasn’t feeling the “gift box” ornament so hadn’t done it (mainly I didn’t want to buttonhole stitch the edges of a little finicky bow at this moment…I will come back to it.) so I moved on to the next one, the wreath. <\/p>\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nI loved making it. The design was ingenious with several layers of leaf rings to stack and tack down to get the effect of many leaves. But, it was the hardest so far to get right. The individual leaves and flowers were a little fussy to space correctly. If I was doing it again, I would cut out a couple extra red flowers to add as it looks a little sparse in some sections. But it is very cute anyway and I love how all the ornaments are so different!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, I made a final push on Emily’s Bliss from Summer House Stitche Workes and got it finished up. I plan to make a flat fold finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The stores are all done with fall fabrics so I ordered some fall leaves fabric for the flat fold and I hope the colors will be good. So hard to tell when ordering online! I also have to track down the finishing supplies that came with the kit so I can incorporate them into my finish. \ufffc\ufffc<\/p>\n\n\n\n With these 3 finished in December, I feel it’s a nice way to end to the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In other news, I am planning to do WIPGO in 2025. I have noticed it seems a good way to get stitches finished and boy do I have a backlog of WIPs, some very close to done. I had wanted to do it last year but as you know the front part of our year was derailed by our flood and stitching really fell by the wayside for a while. I’m still finalizing my board but will share it in the beginning of January. Tell me…have you done WIPGO? What do you think? Was it a success for you? If you read my blog often and you know what kind of a stitcher I am, do you think it will be a success for me? Usually I don’t like anyone or anything telling me what to do, but maybe a “little” bit of discipline will be good for me. We’ll see!
