You can see I have plenty of space and will not need to take out my original start!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Updating the &#8220;To Do&#8217;s&#8221; check list from the first post of Sampler September:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Berries on berry band <strong>HALF OF THEM ARE DONE<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cDorcas Haynes Her Work\u201d Smyrna band <strong>NEED TO ADD EMBELLISHMENTS BETWEEN WORDS<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Satin Stitch Floral Band\u2026the last official band <strong>STARTED<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My own inscription band at the bottom <strong>NEED TO ADD EMBELLISHMENTS BETWEEN WORDS<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acorn caps in detached buttonhole<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bullion knot floral centers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>change \u201cLIKE\u201d in the verse band to a better color. The light pink is driving me crazy because the color is the wrong tone compared to the other words. <strong>&#8220;LIKE&#8221; REMOVED, NEEDS RESTITCHING<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I think to finish this month, I need to finish everything in bold by by the end of next weekend (Sept 22) so I can have about a week to do Acorns Caps and Bullion Knots. I&#8217;ve got my work cut out for me this week! The thing that slows me down the most is selecting the colors at this point. I am totally going rogue from my list at this point as several skeins have run out and I can&#8217;t get dye lots to match the vintage versus the new of the color numbers. I am just trying to select colors to harmonize in the design from stash and pulling from other design areas. This part of the project is a bigger hassle than I anticipated.
