Friends, I can just about taste that finish of Dorcas. This is the penultimate check in…I am sure the next time I photograph Dorcas she will be finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I finished the Satin Stitch Band above, and below shows my improvement of the color in “Like”…the left hand picture shows the final and the right hand picture shows the anemic pink version that I took out. Now all that is left is the flower centers and the acorn caps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes at the end of the project you think you will really miss stitching on this project. For me that is not the case for Dorcas. I have loved figuring this project out, however I will be SO GLAD whens he is done and I can move on to other things. I am in a tizzy thinking of the freedom of choosing which WIPS will get my attention…Will I get another finish or 2 in this year? I bet! I feel like I can do anything now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
