Simply Irresistible

My 2 latest starts are irresistible. Plus, the kids have gone back to swimming so I need a pool project to work on while I watch them. Both of these are easy enough to fit the bill.

Here is the Bargello Needle Roll. I have the outline pattern memorized. It’s quite easy to do now. Even though this is solidly stitched I feel like it will not take so long to do, ultimately.

And here is the Peacocks Purse. It is a mirror image so that makes this one easy too. Look! I found my peacock needle minder! That makes me so happy to have it match the design.

This week I need to go to the DMV and get a new driver’s license since I lost mine. I didn’t mention I discovered it was lost when I went to go get my COVID shot! I had no ID with my birthday on it! And the only thing with my picture was my Costco card! I was so worried after waiting in line for almost 2 hours they wouldn’t be able to give it to me. But they were able to look me up thank goodness. But my second shot is due next weekend and I don’t want to risk not having someone so accommodating and helpful who will accept a hodgepodge of IDs. I will take one of these to work on while I wait. And for my nighttime stitching, my plan for the rest of this week is to work on that Hardanger and the butterfly wings. I look forward to all the stitching moments! 🙂 Hope you have some good ones too!

  1. The Bargello is lovely and ideal for not looking at the chart too much!
I like the peacock needleminder to match the project too. I only use them on my metal ORTs tins otherwise I would definitely be collecting them to coordinate with all my projects!
We don’t have to show ID for the vaccine but we can only book online with our NHS number which proves if we are eligible or not. Just as well as I don’t have any photo ID and I’m not about to spend nearly £100 on a passport I can’t use!
