A productive weekend!
We had a long weekend up in Flagstaff for my son’s last baseball tournament. I got more stitching done than usual for a weekend getaway! Yay! And by done I mean finishes! Woo hoo!
First, here’s June from Snowflower Diaries Joyful World Calendar:
Then Bent Creek’s Buzzzz. So cute! It will be a little pin pillow. I already have the perfect backing and chenille:
Then…Hearts at Christmas from The Common Thread. I’m extra excited about this one because I snipped one too many thread when I was doing the hardanger and so had to repair it! You can see where I pulled through the linen thread. This was an exercise in confidence building! I’m so proud of being able to fix a mistake. And it’s such a pretty piece.
Finally I’m closing in on a finish of the Blue Pot by Mani di Donna. It’s delightful. I hope to get it done for the Smalls check in Friday. See you then!!!
You have done so well, I particularly like the Snowblower Diaries piece and really must start them one day. x
Thanks so much, Kay! It’s been a fun set of projects!
Congratulations on your finishes! I love the bear in the June piece! The blue flowerpot stitch is looking good.
Great work on everything. Congrats on the fix.
Everything looks great Mary! I love Buzzzz
[…] finished quite a few Smalls this month which I posted about earlier this week but my “official” Small for the May check in is The Blue Pot Pin Pillow from Mani Di […]
Great work, I can hardly tell you had to rethread the hardanger piece, you did it so neatly.
That plump little bear is so cute, sweet finish! Buzzzz looks good, I love that fabric. Your Hearts of Christmas looks great!
