Mountain Lake
I’ve been enjoying my little full coverage project “Mountain Lake.” Once I had “the bones” in—the larger color areas and darkest chart symbols—it’s been fun to fill in the missing pieces like doing a puzzle. I only had to take out 3 stitches due to miscounting. Yay!

I’m glad it is small. Without seeing the light at the end of the tunnel almost from the beginning I wouldn’t enjoy it so much! Also it’s small enough to work in the confetti easily. I don’t know the techniques for parking or stitching in a grid for doing large full coverage pieces, and while I’m sure I can learn it, it’s not really my style, so props to all you who do that so well! It’s admirable! Just a few holes and one more color to fill in and then you can see this finished on Friday. The only other thing I will work on this month is The Drawn Thread Sampler of Stitches, getting as much of GHI done as I can. This month proved to be sort of a bust stitching wise but that’s ok. Im looking forward to “Sampler September” in a few weeks!!!
It’s lovely Mary, good to read you’ve enjoyed it. Your conversation looks great.
This is looking lovely. I do like a tiny scale project.
