Slumps and setbacks
Hello friends, I feel like I’m posting less frequently these days! But I’m still here and still stitching a little bit. I admit I’ve been in a bit of a slump. I really get my stitch fix at work at the Attic surrounded by all the beautiful projects and materials! And we’ve had a lot going on at home and I’ve been too tired for daily 1-2 hour evening stitch sessions. So, I haven’t had much luck with my Sampler September plans and I’m just barely going to finish my small this month. There are seasons for everything right?
Anyway, here are 2 of the 4 words of my small. Can you guess the other 2?

Hint, it is a favorite hymn!
I thought by now I’d have put up my FFOs for this month. The Stacy Nash Summer Garden Roll is about finished. It is coming out well! But I was really unhappy with the binding. This week one of my Attic coworkers gave me a lesson (she is a quilter and makes clothing!) and I’m sure it will be much better. I’ve had a chance to take off the original binding, but I have to make new bias tape and reapply it. I hope I will have time and energy this weekend.
Great art! The missing words and an apt description of the beautiful lettering too.
I haven’t blogged much this m9nth but I have several posts stacked up ready for the end of the month!
