December 2022 Gifted Gorgeousness

Merry Christmas!! Here is my seasonal smalls display of red and green. I love how well they coordinate! It makes me happy to see this every morning on my hall table.

I hope you all had a happy celebration! We did indeed, with the slight wrench of Covid diagnoses in our family (not me, yet, but 3 of the 7 of us so far, plus my out of town family member who was visiting, so it’s a matter of time, right?) None of us are very sick thanks to vaccinations but we will all stay in isolation till the new year. Covid has become quite tiresome, don’t you think?

I got some wonderful stitching goodies from my family so I’m making a post for Gifted Gorgeousness! Thank you to Jo of Serendipitous Stitching for giving me the opportunity to share!

I received a goldwork kit by Becky Hogg, a needle lace book, a few lovely charts, luscious Thread Gatherer silks in my favorite colors, notions ‘n’ needles, and, you can’t see it too well, but also a darling pewter hedgehog pin cushion.

Here is a close up. So cute!

I also got the set of Vikki Clayton silks to stitch the ES Spot motif sampler. I will start it right away, not that I need a new start!!

So you can see a very generous Christmas! But never to forget the reason we celebrate which is God’s most generous gift to us of his Son and our salvation! Wishing you all a beautiful end to 2022! Feel free to stop by again Friday for the last Smalls check in of 2022!

Huge hugs to those unwell, thankfully it sounds like the vaccinations are working. A lovely GG post, I love your hedgehog. Wishing you a Happy New Year.

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. Love your gorgeous gifts! The basket of ornaments is beautiful too.
Sorry you’ve all had the lurgy but hopefully it’s not been too bad and you’ll be fighting fit again soon!
