3 Pillows
I finally got out my sewing machine today and made little pillows!
Here is my Blackbird Designs Souvenir de France. I used the pink stripe fabric for the backing and Painter’s Threads silver embellished rick rack. It is just fancy and understated enough for a French souvenir.

Next up is the Joy To Ewe Chessie and Me kit I stitched last December. I finished it with some pretty old Christmas fabric shown. This might even be one I dug out of my mother-in-law’s sewing stuff bin when we cleaned up her crafts. I think it is. So it will be so nice to have something connected to her…she has been gone for 19 years now, it’s hard to believe. The trim is Lady Dot Creates vanilla chenille.

Finally, my most recent finish, Be My Valentine, a Nashville 2025 market release from Samplers Not Forgotten. I actually used my own lace and charm, and used fabric from ANOTHER Samplers Not Forgotten kit that I wanted to change the fabric on, so it’s a bit of my own thing too. This was the last one I made and was the best. It took a little bit to get back in a finishing mood.

I have a bunch of finishes I want to mount on matte board but ARGH, I can’t find my stash of matte board or my other finishing fabric box ANYWHERE after our big move-out/move-in flood situation last year. This and a large framed picture…I have no idea where these things could be. Mislabeled I bet. We moved around furniture and arrangements of things…a lot of stuff still isn’t unpacked and at this point we should probably just donate it…but darn it not before I find my fabric bin and matte board!
Three lovely finishes. I hope your fabric bin and matte board turn up soon.
Thank you! I”m still searching for my supplies! But that’s not stopping too much progress!
