3 little things finished

Hey! I bet you weren’t expecting my next post to have finishes in it. I didn’t.

Anyway! Here they are!

The stitching is done on the Corinne Lapierre felt pin drum:

I also finished the stitching on this small from Giulia Punti Antichi. I decided instead of making it a “stitching pillow” with a pocket (I couldn’t figure out how it would really hold anything except the floss board, but that would stick up quite high out of the pocket…anyway I dismissed the original finish as not for me) it will ALSO be a pin drum. So I changed the layout a bit to put the date/initials on the seam and added enough of the pattern to make it work for that.

And I finished the stitching on Kreinik’s petit point Silent Night. I just love this little thing. I’m on the hunt for an oval frame…I think I may have a couple oval things so I need to hunt for them and see if any will fit.

I also started a ribbon embroidery by Lorna Bateman/Inspirations. This is another Christmas ornament called Pointsettia Heart. I think it is drop dead gorgeous. I messed up the pattern transfer a little so I am hoping it will turn out ok. It should finish up pretty quickly this month.

I have a lot of finishing work to do, but I’m also deciding what will be next. I may just be ready to start something new. Or maybe finish something else old. We’ll see.
