2022 Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop

It’s time for the annual Easter Blog Hop hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching!
I wanted to make up a quick project for you and I had this kit from the Silver Needle’s Secret Stitching Night.

It’s not my usual thing but it sure is cute and perfect for the occasion! The bunny is stitched with Rainbow Gallery Angora yarn. How appropriate to stitch a bunny with bunny fur! It is very fuzzy and soft! I do not like the canvas showing through so I am thinking of filling in the background. Do I really want to do that? I’m not sure. I haven’t done any canvaswork before so maybe it would be a good thing to try. Once I’ve decided that, I will apply the flower buttons that came with the kit. The buttons are one of those dyed mini buttons packs from JABCO. I will probably attempt the “stand up” finish that is recommended.
And now what you came for, your letter so you can complete the mystery phrase!

Hop on over to another Arizona Stitcher for the next letter. Or if you found me in the middle of the game, head back to Jo’s to start at the beginning!
Have a Happy Easter!
I just adore that bunny! Thanks for the cute letter.
Lovely bunny! I like the yarn and the 3D effect with the flowers. Thank you for the letter. Joyeuses fêtes de Pâques ! xxx
At first I thought the bunny was seed beads with decorative buttons, I like the use of a natural fibre in this.
I love this pattern, really pretty. Happy Easter.
Thanks for taking part in the Easter Hop this year. I like your fluffy bunny! I would be inclined to fill in the background myself. It won’t take long with tent stitch, or you could do some fancy needlepoint stitches! The buttons are very cute and really make the design.
I’m sure you will fill in the background! Now you’ve thought about it I bet you have to do it!
It will look lovely, and I look forward to seeing it finished.
Happy Easter Mary.

That’s a super bunny, great design. Thank you for the letter, Easter blessings
Such a sweet bunny! Wishing you a blessed Easter.
Your bunny is adorable! Happy Easter.
Just a cute blog hop post, from your stitching to the bunny in the T formation, haha. Happy Easter!
I love that one! I think there’s a lot of different filling stitches to use so it wouldn’t take too long to do the background, but would be fiddly around those gorgeous flowers.
I really like Bunny in the Garden, especially your finish is great.
Happy Easter, Martina
Aww… what a darling bunny, Mary! I’m with you, I would probably have to fill in the background, too. Hope it’s not too difficult and I hope you and your family had a lovely Easter Sunday ♥
That bunny is adorable! This will be so pretty once you add the buttons. Happy Easter and thanks for the letter!
What a cute little bunny Mary.
