No time!

I’ve had no time for good long stitching sessions lately. What I’ve gotten done so far has happened bit by bit. I guess those bits add up but I’m not as far along as I’d like to be this month!

I put the squirrel and his little tree on the Drawn Thread Sampler of Stitches:

I have finished one side of the Hardanger. I’m not thrilled with it but it is ok. I think this is a skill that requires huge amounts of practice that I haven’t done yet.

I had a baseball game to watch this past weekend and finished up this little basket and this section of border on my Stacy Nash Summer Garden Roll.

And I’ve just about finished 2 smalls for Easter which I will show you later this week.

I guess that’s not so bad after all! But I do hope for a big accomplishment this month!

  1. Your hardanger looks pretty perfect to me. It’s going to be a real heirloom once finished.

  2. The squirrel and his woven tree are adorable! Your Hardanger looks fine to me, it is definitely a skill which takes a lot of work to master.

  3. Your Hardanger looks amazing, it goes with so many beautiful embroideries. And also the beginning of the sampler is nice.
    Happy Easter Martina

  4. I well remember those busy, busy days in Spring when raising children! I’m amazed at all you accomplish each month, Mary, even if it doesn’t seem like a lot to you. The hardanger is so gorgeous–something I refuse to even try with my old eyes 🙂
