June 2020 Smalls Check In
I finally finished the stitching on the Let It Snow biscornu from Faby Reilly. It is beautiful but I did not love stitching it. I’m not going to list all the reasons why, I’m just going to enjoy that it’s done!
I’ve made several biscornus so I’m expecting this to be a cinch to finish off. Hopefully you’ll see the final project in July!
What have you stitched this month?
This is a lovely design Mary, I love all the different beads
Hi Mary,
Really like your snowflake, it will surely be very beautiful when all finished!
If you remove my entry to smalls sal, I can try to do a new one – I’ve done it with my phone and the picture didn’t come as it was supposed to…
All the best, with greetings from Sweden

Well this is truly lovely!
Sometimes stitching is not so enjoyable, you should take great pleasure in your beautiful finish
Thanks for hosting! Your snowflake looks fantastic, and I’m glad you’re happy with the finish, even if the journey was not much fun. 🙂
Sorry it was not enjoyable but the stitching looks great. Looking forward to the biscornu.
Your biscornu looks anazing. I’m keen to see it made up. I’m afraid I have no Smalls to show this month. All my stitching has been on bigger projects.
It’s a beautiful piece! It looks like lots of beading so maybe that was the dislike?
That is a beautiful design but it does look fiddly with the dark fabric and the metallic threads! I am sure it sparkles nicely though.
