For March, the People have chosen Spring as the theme of the blog hop. I have a few springy stitches to share. Here is one I made last year which you might remember, Jeannette Douglas’ Jump Into Spring:
This piece also from last year also seems springy to me, it is called Pensee Sauvage from Samplers Not Forgotten. In Arizona pansies really can only enjoyed in early spring because by May they have all been burned up by our hot weather.
Next is my Spring Flowers pin cushion from Stacy Nash. It was a kit quite awhile ago and I was very patient to find one. But guess what? The design was released at the Needlework Expo this weekend so if you like it you can get the chart! I just love this little design.
Then from a couple years ago I have this little Just Nan set called Bloom. The kit was the tin and pin cushion. I believe this was a seasonal series, and undoubtedly this was the spring part.
This Just Nan mouse is also “spring” from a seasonal series-I think the needle roll series. My birthday is in March so I am partial to daffodils and that flower is featured on this mouse. The linen is actually pale yellow but the pink background makes it looks white I guess.
I display these Just Nans next to my ribbon embroidery pin cushion from Lorna Bateman. I just loved this project. It is so cheerful and bright, perfect for spring!
I will end with a Blackbird Design, And Spring Arose On The Garden Fair. Isn’t it lovely? This was the first BBD I ever stitched.

Thanks for taking part in The People’s Choice this month. I love all the Spring colours in today’s post. The Jeanette Douglas is particularly lovely.
I stitched a JN mouse this weekend, and finished it too, all except the little broomstick. Yes, it is a Witchy Mouse!
Gorgeous spring pieces. I especially like the ribbon embroidery piece,
Oh wow! These are all so very pretty Mary! The ribbon embroidery takes the cake for gorgeousness though!!
A terrific selection of Spring stitching finishes, Mary.
So many beautiful pieces to celebrate spring! And they are all lovely finishes too. That mouse is just adorable.
