Larger Project Progress
I think I owe you an update on Sacred, which was supposed to be my Lenten stitch but (kept getting interrupted) and my Dorcas Haynes project, which has seen a few stitches put in since I last showed you.
I don’t even want to bother with before and after pictures, or “best laid plans” that went to ruin or anything. I’ll just show you where I’m at, today.

Sacred, by Teresa Kogut
I started in on the cross going down to the heart during Holy Week. I finished up the fire and top of the heart this month, and *almost* finished the points around the border. A little at a time is fine on this one. It is a good stitch for slow stitching…very meditative. I don’t have a plan for it at this point but I will try to get it done this year.
And here is Dorcas. I’m on the eyelet verse…still.

No comments about anything else regarding dear old Dorcas. The eyelets aren’t so bad when I get in the rhythm but interrupt me and I’m lost! I guess life has had a lot of interruptions these days! Still hoping to finish the eyelets this month and start the next big arcade band in June.
