Best Laid Plans

It always happens that when we plan a trip, I think, I will bring my stitching and get so much done on it I should bring one or two more things to start! Since I will have so much free time! And then it always happens that I rarely even put one stitch in. This kind of plan shows my irretractable optimism. So, my plan was so get the whole over-dyed floss border done on our fall break trip back in October. In fact I went to a lot of trouble to get the floss! But it didn’t even get started until we got home. And now, thanks to those October interruptions, I am just finishing it up, as well as the alphabet border. Maybe it will be done next week! Surely!
