I finally gave up on finding my finishing stuff box and bought new mat board. So! I could finish the funky little birdy I stitched last year on this little wooden box:

I’m working in a couple other finishes I needed mat board for…they’ll be coming soon.

While I had out my finishing stuff I mounted the little silk gauze rose I stitched earlier this month.

The kit was from Theron Traditions. I won’t use it as a necklace….i might just put a magnet on it and stick it on the fridge…or put it in my shadow box…I don’t know, it just little and pretty and kind of useless! But I like it anyway!

I finished the stitching on the Featherbeds strawberry….

Just love the coverlet inspired design. I like strawberry finishes and will FFO this this week.

Then I really must get back to my big projects….do you believe me? I don’t blame you if you don’t! Stitching is better than no stitching even if I’m not stitching to plan.
