Filling in

Dorcas has been getting all my attention lately (whoo!) and I’ve been filling in…

The vine is diagonal double back stitch. The little leaves are satin stitch. The flower stems are Gobelin stitch. The flowers are a pattern of satin stitch.

The big leaves are queen stitch. I have a lot of queen stitch to do. And I first have to chart in the outline because the actual chart is not clear, just like in the strawberry band (but that’s finally finished!)

Queen stitch is slow for me but I don’t hate it. It’s just slow.

But it’s all worth it! Here’s the whole thing. It’s so beautiful and worth all the effort!
