The Velvet Parsnip

I finished off something this weekend! The Velvet Parsnip by Stacy Nash:

You can see I decided on the needlebook finish after all. This would be an awkward ornament! It’s surprisingly big and there leaves are floppy. I thought I could make the carrot design into a scissor case and a velvet tomato and then have a vegetable themed sewing set. Will this plan materialize? No one knows!
