Finished! 2026
Four Finishes

Four Finishes

I did it, I finished stitching 4 things this month!

Fern Ridge’s Strawberry Pie Fob:

I really really love the fringe. It is so beautiful. Peyote stitching is pretty fun. I am thinking about what beading project I’ll do next.

Homespun Elegance’s Stitching Necessaire:

I added the embellishments and fixed the edge that had come apart. It is a sweet little thing.

The Drawn Thread’s Emily’s Hope:

The Emily is Emily Dickinson…Hope is a thing with feathers that perches in the soul… I will add this to the Love mini sampler I stitched a while ago and get them framed or ready to display side by side.

Blackbird Pin Cushion by Blackbird Designs.

A pretty typical little Blackbird project, will go nicely with the Coxcomb Bouquet Box when I have it stitched up into a pincushion.

What will I stitch in February? I want to finish up the Red and Green Carnation Sampler, and also the Fox and Rabbit pink bird small. Finishing those 2 will entitle me to a new start I think.

I love the fob, so sweet! I bought some at Market last year that I still have to make. I’ve never done one before, maybe that’s my delay?! Speaking of Market, are you going this year?

Your Stitching Necessaire looks lovely with the M.

Hi Astrid! The beaded fob is a quick project! 2-3 sessions for me. Starting is fiddly but once you get going it’s a breeze. Be sure to watch a tutorial and sit at a table with lots of space to move yours arms because you use a LONG thread!

I’m not going to market this year, I have a HS senior and it falls right on our spring break! Can’t miss the last spring break!

Thanks for the tips! Once my craft table is totally cleared up, I’ll try it.

I’m sorry I won’t see you, but enjoy spring break!
