Happy St. Valentine’s Day! It is time for the Secret Stitching Sweetheart blog hop hosted by dear Jo of Serendipitous Stitching! All the participants swap stitched Valentines and then hop around to find out who got theirs! My Secret Stitching Sweetheart sent me this lovely Valentine! She couldn’t have known it but I have a great affection for Sunbonnet Sue […]
Finishing those 2 little projects last week of the VWX section on the Sampler of Stitches and the Philanthropic Pumpkin made me so happy because I could go back to a lovely stitch from last year…Rosehips and Ivy from Blackbird Designs. Here’s my progress this week. If I keep on at a good pace, I may just be able to […]
Hello friends! It is time for the first Smalls Link Up of 2023! I can hardly believe it but here we are! Here is my (medium) small for this month, The Philanthropic Pumpkin from Hands on Design. I am looking forward to the finishing actually, it will be very very cute and I have some adorable pumpkin pins to stick […]

It seemed like it would go perfectly in my Merry Christmas pin cushion display! So I started it right after Christmas and it seemed to practically stitch itself in all my spare moments this week. But I do think I […]
Yay! I have finished the Victoria Sampler Biscornuments series! I made the last ornament my final start of 2022 on New Year’s Eve, and was able to complete it on New Year’s Day! I “saved” this one for last because it struck me as less interesting than the others but I think it just didn’t photograph well. It is so […]
Happy New Year! After reviewing my photos. I found I stitched more than I thought I did this year! I participated in Carol’s Instagram challenge…12 in 22 ornaments which resulted in 10 new ornaments, 8 for Christmas, 1 for Easter and 1 for Halloween. I did also stitch 4 letters for Clare’s alphabet tree too so I guess I made […]
